The members of the Tewksbury Fire Department are committed to saving lives and protecting the property of the people who live in, work in or travel through the Town of Tewksbury by the use of rationally aggressive fire suppression, comprehensive fire prevention, public education, informed hazardous materials response and quality emergency medical care and transportation of the sick and injured. TEWKSBURY FIRE DEPARTMENT
Normal staffing – 12 full time professional firefighters are assigned to each shift for emergency services.
The administrative day shift consists of the Chief, Deputy Chief, and a department secretary.
Coordinators are assigned to a shift and work their specialty position around normal call volume.
