Field
Trips
Six Flags New England - 7:30am-8pm
This trip is long, but very exciting! Due to
the lengthy bus ride and time at the park, we will only be taking
children ages 10 and older. Please make sure that your child
will participate in most of the rides, as we do not want to spoil
the day of other kids in their group. Lunch, and extra money
is suggested as there are many games and snacks to be purchased.
Sun block, bathing suits, and snacks for the ride are strongly
suggested.
Good Times
Arcade - 9:30am-2:00pm - $25
Good Times is located in Somerville. Children will receive 2 rolls
of tokens ($20), 4 laser tag or ride tickets and lunch. Lunch will
be pizza and a drink. Children may bring extra money if they wish,
but it is not necessary. Counselors will be assigned to all exits,
bathrooms, as well as monitoring the gaming areas.
Cosmic
Bowling - 9:15am-1:00pm - $20
Bowling is located at the Woburn Bowladrome. Cosmic Bowling is bowling
with the lights lowered, music blasting, and light shows. The price
of the trip includes rental bowling shoes. Please do not send
children with money for snacks or arcade games. Counselors will be
assigned to the lanes with the children.
Southwick Zoo- 8:30am-3pm - $25
Southwick
Zoo is in Menden, MA. The zoo is packed with animals from all
over the world! Children will be given a lunch including a
hotdog, hamburger, or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They will
also get chips and a drink. Lunch is already
included in the price. We will also be seeing a training show at
the zoo. Children may bring extra money as they are allowed to ride
the elephants and camels at an additional cost. Children will
pick/be assigned to groups with a counselor.
Boston
Aquarium and IMAX Theater -TBA
We will be going into Boston to tour the Aquarium, have lunch
outside on the harbor, and then to watch a 3D IMAX movie. Children
are required to bring a paper/plastic bagged lunch (something they
can throw out when they are finished). We will not be carrying bags
around all day. The 3D movie is to be determined because the IMAX
Theater does not put out a schedule more than two months in
advance. Children may bring extra money for the Aquarium Gift
Shop. Children will not be allowed to buy lunch at the aquarium nor
snacks at the theater. Counselors and children will be assigned to
small groups.
Canobie Lake
Park- Mandatory or No Summer Program- 10:30am-6:00pm - $30
This trip is all day fun! We must take all of our staff in order to
accommodate the amount of children that join us. It is optional
whether or not your child brings or buys a lunch. However, if they
bring a lunch, it must be in bag that can be thrown away. We
recommend bathing suits underneath Summer Program T-Shirts as there
are many water rides. We do not use the swimming pool. We
will not allow them to carry a bag or cooler around during the day.
Children are allowed to pick their own group, but once the group is
set, it will not be changed. Group sizes vary by age from 4-6
children per group. Please keep in mind that there are many rides
on this trip and it may not be suitable for your child.
Nashua Pride
Baseball Game- 10:45am-4pm - $15
We’re off to see a semi-professional baseball game. Children can
buy lunch and snacks if they choose. Please wear sun block if
necessary.
Fenway Park
Tour -6/25 10:30am-2pm, 7/9 7:30am-10:30pm -
$16
This is awesome! The bus will drop us off right outside the gates!
VIP! The children will actually get to walk along the warning track
of the Green Monster and check out the dugouts. If that isn’t cool
enough, they will get to check out the 400 club seats, the monster
seats, and much more! Part of the tour is a stop at the Official
Red Sox Souvenir Shop. Extra money is optional. Lunch will be back
at Livingston Street. This is the only trip that a Summer Program
T-Shirt is not required, that is, if you are wearing Red Sox attire
of course. Counselors and children travel together in one large
tour group.
Baseball
Hall of Fame -6am-9pm- $55
This is a long bus trip. We will only be taking
children ages 10 and up. If you have a younger child that would like to
attend please speak with Lauren or Roy. Children should wear
sneakers as there is a lot of walking. Aside from the Hall of
Fame, Cooperstown has an outdoor walking area for shopping.
Children should bring money to buy lunch. They may bring
coolers with snacks and drinks for the ride. We will be riding
in style on a coach bus.
Sky Venture
-9am-3:30pm- $40
This is an awesome trip for the Summer Program! The Virtual Air
Tunnel is in Nashua, New Hampshire. All children will take a
training session first and then take flight. The flying occurs
above an over sized trampoline. This is extremely safe and fun!
There's nothing closer to flying!
Ice Skating
-10am-1pm- $13
A little different for the summer, but what better way to cool off
in August! We will be traveling to Philips Academy where children
can either bring their own skates or use free rentals. All children
are required to wear a helmet whether they are professionals,
novices, or first time skaters. The Tewksbury Summer Program
children will
have the entire rink to themselves.

$32
There is absolutely no use of the wave pool for Summer
Program participants. Children are in groups of 4-5 depending on
age, with a councilor. You may bring a lunch or buy a lunch. We
suggest sun block and towels. We have a designated area where
children can leave their belongings. Please nothing valuable-just
in case! Please keep in mind that there are many rides on
this field and it may not be suitable for your child
