Important Information
Summer Months
The Youth Center will be
closed to members from June 23 to
September 1 due to the Summer Program. We will reopen on September 2.
The outside Snack Bar will remain open.
Recreation Department's Summer Program
Registration:
April 22 and 24: 6:00 p.m.—8:00 p.m.
April 26: 10:00 a.m.—12:00 noon
Did you know……….
During the school year, a school bus from the Ryan School
drops members off at the Youth Center each day after school. Please
contact the Ryan School if you would like to make arrangements for your
child to take the bus.
Youth Center Hours
Monday—Thursday: 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Badges
We have had an ongoing problem with members who do not have
their badges with them when they come
to the Youth Center. During the warmer months, members who do not have
their badge can either stay outside or remain in the building. During
the cold months, members who do not have their badge CANNOT LEAVE THE
BUILDING.
The reason for this policy
is to ensure your child's safety. If members do not check in and check
out, we are unable to track them. Members who lose their badge can
purchase a new one for $10. Our goal is not to make a profit from the
badges. Our goal is to teach members that they are responsible for
making sure they have their badge when they come to the Youth
Center.
Youth Center Event Release Policy
We will not release a child
after
an event (dances, parties, etc.) unless they are picked up by a parent,
guardian or designee.
If a child is to be released during the event, a parent or guardian must be present to release their child and sign a release form. We will not release a child to a designee during an event. Once the child is released for this purpose, they cannot re-enter the event.
Gift Certificates
We have $1 gift certificates for sale. They are
great for
birthday gifts, stocking stuffers, etc. Members
can use the
certificates to purchase food at the Snack Bar.
