Town of Tewksbury – Open Space Recreation Plan Vision Session

The Town of Tewksbury Community Preservation Committee is conducting a vision session to solicit input from the public on the Town’s Open Space and Recreation Plan.

The Vision Session will be held on November 29, 2007 at 7 pm at the Tewksbury Police Station Community Room.

The public is encouraged to attend and provide input on the use of recreation facilities, the use and preservation of open space and the use of other municipal land. The results of the vision session and a Town-wide survey will serve as the basis of an update to the Town’s 1998 Open Space Recreation Plan.

The Plan is being updated by the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments at the request of the Tewksbury Community Preservation Committee. Successful completion of the plan and acceptance by the State is a prerequisite for certain grant programs.
