MASTER PLAN COMMITTEE

Land Use Study Group

The Master Plan Committee’s Land Use Study Group was created to focus on future land use recommendation of two areas in the Town of Tewksbury. The first area is in the general vicinity of the intersection of Andover Street and North Street. The second area is in the general vicinity of South Street, Rocco’s dump, I-93 and the town borders of Andover and Wilmington.

The study group will review the existing conditions at these locations and review alternative uses that could be supported in these areas. Recommendations will be forwarded to the Master Plan Committee if the study is completed prior to the Planning Board’s adoption of the Master Plan or to the Planning Board prior to submittal to Town Meeting.

The composition of the Study Group is 2 members from the Master Plan Committee and 3 residents at large chosen by the Master Plan Committee.

It is anticipated that the Study Group will meet at least six times with meeting times to be determined by the membership.
