All of Phase 6 has been turned over to the Town. If you live in this area you should have received a letter telling you that you can now connect to the system.

Bid Opening: The bids for Contract 21 (Phase 6) were opened Tuesday, April 29, 2003. The winning bid is from RJV Construction out of Canton, MA. They have done a lot of projects like this for the Boston Sewer and Water Authority.

Approximately 290 homes/businesses served
Approximately 23,000 LF (4.3 miles) of gravity sewer
1 Pumping Station (Hill Street and Main Street)
Approximately 1,400 LF of force main
Approximately 6 Grinder Pumps
Approximately 3,400 LF of water main replacement (bid alternate)
Environmental Impact Report (EIR) waiver granted
No ConCom approvals necessary

Phase 6 has been completed. The Hill St. pumping station is up and running. 284 properties can now connect to the Town's sewer system. Some of the streets received final paving in 2004; the balance will be done in 2005.
