The Tewksbury Community of Artists has been a group of residents of Tewksbury for the last 13 years. Members range from young adults to seniors and practice all forms of art and live in all parts of New England. We are funded by dues, donations and in part by the Tewksbury Arts Lottery Council (Massachusetts State Cultural Council). Our group has had demonstrations of various art forms and also workshops which have been advertised and open to the public. Each Spring (weather permitting) The Tewksbury of Community of Artists has Art on the Common located at the Tewksbury Town Common where members and non-members can display, demonstrate and sell their art. Each September the Group has an Annual Art Festival (this year's location is still to be determined). Participants in this event include students from all the schools in Tewksbury, members, and non-members. Since the Annual Art Festival incorporates students and any other artist, it is one of the greatest cultural events of the Town. There is music, light refreshments and some years has had dance performances by senior high school students. Please visit our Events section to obtain information regarding upcoming demonstrations, trips or art shows. If you are interested in becoming a member, please visit the Join section.
